James Reinhart (Co-founder & CEO)

James is a serial entrepreneur and recent graduate of the Harvard Business School and the Harvard Kennedy School where he was both a Bill George Fellow at the Center for Public Leadership and an HBS Goldsmith Fellow. Prior to HBS/HKS, while working in the Bay Area, he helped build one of the nation's premier public schools, Pacific Collegiate School - recently named the #3 school in America by US News & World Report. He is a product of New Jersey public schools and Boston College.

Oliver Lubin (Co-founder & Design/UX)

Oliver, Lead UI Designer, was previously the Technology Director at Foley Hoag LLP. Prior to joining Foley, Oliver earned a Master of Science in Healthcare Technology Management at Marquette University. He has worked in marketing and technology consulting for the past six years and holds a degree in Computer Science from Boston College.

Chris Homer (CTO & Chief Engineer)

Chris bleeds entrepreneurship and when he comes across a new idea, he can't help but dive in and start building the prototype. Chris began his career at Microsoft as part of its live-event sales group. Chris helped grow the reach of the company's mid-market sales group by building a new website where prospects could interact with the team and learn about upcoming events. Chris is a graduate of the Harvard Business School and has a BS in Engineering from Princeton University.

Carly Fauth (Chief Mom)

Carly, Chief Mom, was formerly in Public Relations and Marketing and has years of experience using social media. She is the proud parent to Ryker Fauth - 9 months old - and is thredUP's in-house resource on all aspects of reaching new moms. Carly grew up in New Jersey and graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a BA in Communications.

Peter Marreck (Ruby on Rails Developer)

Peter spent a few years in the IT Consulting industry doing web development, first at Deloitte working on complex risk management software tools and then at Keane where his last project was a total rebuild of the Boston Public Schools homepage. Peter graduated from Cornell University with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Computer Science, and enjoys sailing when the weather permits.

Karen Fein (Public Relations/Marketing)

Karen has a strong and developing expertise in Public Relations, Social Media and Marketing. Most recently, she worked at PAN Communications across consumer, technology and professional services portfolios and secured top tier coverage for clients. Karen has passion for social media and has launched various campaigns for clients to capture the attention of consumers and industry leaders. She graduated from Connecticut College with a degree in American Studies.

Heidi comes to thredUP as a recent graduate of Northeastern with expertise in hand-drawn graphics (that's her work all over the site) CSS, HAML and SASS. Heidi is a budding Ruby coder and spends a lot of time being the right-hand woman to Chris & Peter.

Jenny is a full-time student who spends her afternoons and evenings helping thredUP deliver superior customer service. She grew up in Texas and now resides in Wakefield, MA.

Sara Gibb (Chief Military Mom)

Sara is our boots on the ground specialist, networking in the military community and supporting our military thredUP members. A proud graduate of Boston College, her decade spent as a teacher and college administrator is coming in handy with this new venture. A serial thredUP trader, Sara is a Navy wife and mother of three: Ryan (5), David (3) and Lexi (1). She holds a Master’s Degree from the University of Connecticut, and would enjoy yoga, reading and cooking food that isn’t orange in her spare time (if she had any).
