Water Matters.

To mark our first birthday and the environmental savings we've created together, thredUP is teaming up with charity: water to help people in need get access to clean, safe water.

Nearly 1 billion people are living without clean water today and diseases from unsave water kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war. Children are especially vulnerable as their bodies aren't yet strong enough to fight water-born illnesses.

Together we upcycled 341,610 items of kids' clothing last year and helped save 13.2 million gallons of water that otherwise would have been used in the production of new clothing.
