Words cannot express the shock and sadness we feel over the events that took place at the finish line of the Boston Marathon yesterday afternoon.  This tragedy hit close to home for many of us here at thredUP.  For those of you who don’t know, thredUP was born in Cambridge, MA (about 3 miles from the finish line) so Boston holds a special spot in all of our hearts.  Many of us had family and friends racing or among the spectators so needless to say, yesterday was a very stressful and scary day.  I’m sure many of you can relate.

We want to help all those affected by this senseless and cowardly act so we have created a thredUP Boston Marathon Victims Support Group page where you can donate your Clean Out credit to help those in need.  We will match each and every contribution and 100% of the money raised will go directly to the American Red Cross of Eastern Massachusetts. Learn more.
