“Everyone needs the perfect jean jacket in their wardrobe. I’m wearing a vintage Levi’s one that was bought secondhand, of course. The way I like to style it is by pairing it with a comfortable and simple, yet stylish two-piece with some strappy heels for a weekend getaway with my girlfriends.”

Alba Barragan, Operations

“I love this Forever 21 jacket because you can easily throw it on over basics with heels or sneakers and still look super trendy. I own a ton of basic pieces so having a jacket like this is a quick way to mix it up. My fave combo with this jacket is a pair of slip-on sneaks because I love being comfy on busy days but don’t want to sacrifice style in the process.”

“SF style is casual, so this jacket is my go-to when I want to downplay my outfit. I searched high and low for a denim workwear jacket and I found the perfect one secondhand by Point Su Denim (J.Crew’s private label). Right cut, length, and number of pockets. I love an oversized topper with a mini skirt—it’s a great way to balance the amount of skin I’m showing.”

Angela May Chen, Design

“I love how pins and patches instantly add personal flair to a jacket. Statement patches are always good conversation starters. I often wear this H&M jacket as a layering piece over a sweater and style it with a beanie. It’s basically my San Francisco uniform.”

Britney Freeman, Community

“This J.Crew jacket makes me feel like the “hip cool mom” I secretly want to be! It’s edgy but not over the top. Some curvy women tend to shy away from cropped jackets because it can give you a boxy look but adding a belt helps define your waist. I added my fave gold accessories for a little bling effect!”

Lauren Schaumann, Creative

“A denim jacket is my go-to choice for outerwear. It goes with everything! I love pairing this edgy Gap moto jacket with something a little more feminine, like my mauve knife pleated skirt from Nordstrom. It takes me straight from my 9-5 to a glass of rosé.”

Melanie, Customer Service

“I like to style my Fossil jean jacket by buttoning it closed over my burgundy velvet dress. I just add black booties for a Friday work day to be prepared for a night out. It allows me to be business casual at work and then I can easily tie it around my waist for when I’m ready to have fun!”
