Look For Less: Miranda Kerr

share this:
Miranda Kerr’s otherworldly good looks would probably allow her to make headlines wearing a flour sack. But thankfully for those of us who aren’t Victoria’s Secret Angels, the Australian beauty has a penchant for casual yet chic ensembles that would still look great on those who don’t pose in lingerie for a living. Here are three of our favorite ensembles from the glamorous young mom, and how to score them for less.

1. Day in the sun: Kerr’s hit-the-streets ensemble would be a perfect choice for summer traveling, thanks to the practical flat black sandals (like this Cole Haan pair) on her feet. Classic blue skinnies, like this Level 99 pair, get a dose of fun with a subtle leopard print, while a flowy black tank from Eileen Fisher keeps her cool. Complete the look with a Panama hat from Cuyana and a classic pair of black Ray-Ban Wayfarers.
2. Legs for days: Leather shorts like this pair from ASOS have been a popular summer option this year, but they can definitely be intimidating to style. Take a page from Kerr’s book by dressing them down with an oversized Everlane white tee, complete with rolled-up sleeves, Wayfarers, and a bright red pout. Wine-colored Nine West pumps and a black leather Cynthia Rowley satchel dress things up.
3. Simple stunner: Kerr’s classic silhouette in this outfit looks great on everyone, regardless of their shape. Just pair a scoop-necked, 3/4 sleeve black tee from Splendid with a voluminous printed skirt with a nipped waist, like this one from Ann Taylor LoftNude Charles & Keith stilettos with an ankle strap elongate the legs, while a structured white Banana Republic satcheladds polish. Throw on some tortoise-shell Gucci aviators for an added dose of glamour.
