Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I’m Beccy, and I’m a Goody Box stylist at thredUP! I live in downtown Chicago and in my free time, I enjoy going to concerts, music festivals, traveling, and being outdoors (whenever Chicago weather permits). I also really enjoy watching fashion shows, especially the Chanel shows, whenever I can find the time. Fashion has always been an important part of my life, and my initial move to Chicago was to study design and merchandising. I love that Fashion allows you to be creative and show the world a part of who you are.

I would say that my style is mostly boho with a little edge, and at times casual. I love all Anthropologie brands, For Love and Lemons, and Free People of course.

What trends are you currently hunting for on thredUP?

I’m obsessed with flowy boho tops at the moment. A helpful tip on how to find the best styles is to shop by neckline! Use the tie neck, scoop neck, and keyhole filters under blouses and you’ll find exactly what you’re looking for.

Which trends are you most excited for the Fall/Winter Season?

For Fall/Winter, I’m really excited about the patchwork trend and cape coats. I’m obsessed with high rise flare jeans and I’m sooo excited about them coming back in style!

Tell us a little bit about yourself.

My name is Jessica (Jess for short). I have a 7-year-old 1st grader, and she loves clothes just like her mama! I have worked in retail for 20 years. I love to express myself with clothing. I use to shop at malls and thrift stores, but now I love just shopping online and using filters to find exactly what I want on thredup.

Why do you choose to shop secondhand first?
Secondhand helps me save money while helping the planet! Also, I can find so many things on thredUP, and I rarely ever find things at the mall. I shopped the mall for hours, and did not find one dress I loved. I shopped on thredUP, and ended up buying 3 and saved 10 more.

What trend are you currently obsessed with?

I am obsessed with animal and snake print everything. I have tops, skirts, pants, scarves, shoes, and I’m looking to complete my collection with a crossbody bag.

Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I’m basically a Jesus-loving, wifey and momma, who sometimes struggles with workaholism. I am a graphic artist and I also serve on the Creative Team at my church, ITOWN — a modern Christian church with the mission to seek and save, no fluff. I love that I have the opportunity to fill my cup each day with the things that light my soul so that I am a better wife, momma, and overall human.

What’s your top hack for finding great deals on thredUP?

Saved Searches is my favorite. If there are brands that go almost immediately, it is critical to have push notifications sent to your phone. I get daily e-mails for my everyday styles and brands, but if there is something very specific I am looking for I will set up immediate notifications. For example, I’m shopping for knee-high boots for fall and had trouble finding wide-calf styles in the past. Now I have an alert set up so I can get to know brands I wasn’t aware of previously.

All this being said, just filtering by my size when I’m browsing is amazing because you can find new various brands that you will love! For example, I never shopped at Forever 21 before I started shopping on thredUP.
