If you’re in the area, and ready to clean out your closet and receive a quick payout, you can now do so in stores! We offer same day buying of gently used women’s clothing, shoes, handbags, and accessories at various thredUP stores.

What items should I bring in?
Just like you, our customers love updated styles. Think looks and trends you see in stores! We accept women’s clothing, shoes, handbags, and accessories in excellent condition – no rips, stains, odor, broken hardware, or excessive wear.
Do you buy seasonally?
Yes we buy for the current season.
How should I bring my items?
Items should be stain free and freshly washed. We recommend bringing your items folded in a bag. Keep in mind, we have a limit of 100 items per clean out and one clean out per day.
What items do you not accept in store?
We currently do not accept athletic wear, business attire, swimwear, formal wear, maternity clothes, or kids’ clothes in store but we are happy to send them off in Clean Out Kit to one of our four distribution centers for you. We also do not buy real fur.
When do you buy in store? Do I need an appointment?

How much will I earn for my items?
Payouts will fluctuate based on brand, season and item type. On average we accept about 40% of the items in the average in store clean out. The unaccepted items can be sent in through a Clean Out Kit for potential added payout. An average payout is about $40.
Are items put on consignment or bought outright? Are they negotiable?
Offers are non-negotiable and will be added to our inventory right away. For the items we accept, you’ll receive for an outright payout.
What happens to items you do not accept?
Don’t worry we can take care of it for you! Unaccepted item might still get accepted for the site. If you do not choose to take back the unaccepted items, we can send them in a Clean Out Bag or Donation Bag.
