Spring’s Best Style Secrets From Blogger Zory Mory

share this:

Looking for a new perspective on your spring style? Meet Zory Mory, San Francisco fashion blogger, thredUP aficionado, and visual designer. We first “met” Zory when she ‘grammed an adorable striped Marc by Marc Jacobs romper (follow her!), one of her many lust-worthy thredUP finds. We love her ability to effortlessly mix bargain finds with splurge-worthy pieces. Tell us your secrets, Zory!Zory_mory_day1 84

We think everyone can learn something from Zory about how to shop and dress in a way that feels authentic to you. That’s why we selected Zory as our style muse this month. She’ll be inspiring us on how to refresh our closets for spring. Get started by shopping Zory’s curation at thredUP. (Items start at $4.99!)

Why do you shop at thredUP? I love thredUP because it feels like a treasure hunt. When I find a piece I like and it’s my size, it’s a burst of joy. It’s so satisfying. The price is what really hooks me—I don’t have to contemplate my purchases too much.

What are your favorite brands? I would give any brand a chance, but who I normally gravitate towards is Old Navy. They’ve been coming up with really awesome designs recently.

Another brand I like for bags and accessories is Kate Spade. They mix prints in a great way.

I also have to mention Zara (for both price and quality), Madewell, and J.Crew (they are the best at print-mixing and such an inspiration).

Zory’s Top 4 Spring Style Tips:

1. Have A Go-To Outfit. “My uniform is a striped T-shirt and boyfriend jeans. If I want to change it up, I would pair it with different shoes. A heel if I want to be a little dressy, and flats or sneakers if I want to stay very comfortable, casual, and low-key.”

2. Know What’s Worth The Investment  “For me, it’s pants, including jeans. Pants are always a good investment piece. I love Vince—they always have great styles that are high quality and they always fit really well. Also, J. Brand jeans. They fit like a glove.

3. Calculate Your Style Formula “I shop mostly for separates so I can mix and match all the items in my closet. It simplifies my daily life and reduces the clutter in my closet. I also like to mix brands. For tops, it’s usually a lower price point, but then I add something a little more elevated, like a Theory skirt or a jacket from Tobi.”

4. Never Underestimate The Importance Of Being Comfortable “I’m all about comfort, even for date night. I’ll do a stretch black lace dress with sporty shoes.”

Stay tuned for more Zory, all April long!
