#roundUP: Our Favorite Links From The Week
We hope this finds you with a great week behind you, and gearing up for a relaxing weekend. We whipped up a quick roundUP of some articles from the week that were worth sharing. Whether you’re off for a weekend getaway or on a mini staycation soaking up the summer sun, take a peek if you’re in the mood – we think you might enjoy.
Ben and Jerry’s and New Belgium have joined together to create an ice cream inspired beer called The Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ale. It will hit shelves this fall, but we’re so excited (and a little apprehensive) so we had to share immediately. [POPSUGAR]
Soo. There’s a dark vortex in the atmosphere of Neptune. Apparently, “dark vortices coast through the atmosphere like huge, lens-shaped gaseous mountains” which is a sentence both funny and mind-boggling. We’re totally spacing out. [NASA]
Burger King just threw down the food mash-up gauntlet: Mac n’ Cheetos. In a nutshell, the dish is bite-size, portable mac n’ cheese noodles encased in Cheeto dust. Think Locos Tacos (Taco Bell taco shell = Doritos chips), but a gooey pasta version. We’re not necessarily advocating that you try these, but we do think you should know about these. [Today]
Washington State University’s provost wore a beard of thousands of honey bees to raise money and awareness about declining bee populations. The school is pushing to build a Honey Bee research center because bees are key to the global food supply. [Oregon Live]
And with that, have a great weekend! As always, tweet at us or leave a comment if we forgot anything, or you’re just in the mood to chat.
