How did we go about identifying these juicy details on our fifty states?
We looked at 1,472 brands and over 5.5 million clothing items from the thredUP inventory for the total number of items sold in the last three months of 2017. We compared that number to the total items sold in the first six months of 2018. The trending items or brands are those that had a significant amount of sales and an increase in items sold. Looking at the quantity sold of an item, quantity of items belonging to a brand sold, and quantity of a color sold, we found out what items, brands, and colors shoppers are buying and keeping in their wardrobes.
