About the Role
At thredUP, we’re revolutionizing the clothing industry, and we're looking for a technical support person to provide day-to-day hands on support for our Vernon Hills Distribution Center on desktops, mobile devices and applications. This position interfaces directly with internal operations users, troubleshooting problems related to photography equipment, desktops, touchscreen monitors, and printers and finding resolutions.
We aren’t looking for just another standard help desk person. We want someone who is really excited about new technology, operationally minded, someone who loves seeking out that weird bug, finally solving why an app keeps crashing, and solving a network problem we’ve been scratching our heads on for weeks!
Yes, this is primarily a support position, meaning we need help responding to user requests, writing out documentation, and helping simplify our processes. But there will definitely be opportunities to learn entirely new systems, hop into scripting, learn how to manage servers in the cloud, and more!
