About the Role

We're looking for an HR Coordinator for our growing Distribution Center who will be primarily responsible for the onboarding of new hourly associates and will assist with other HR/Recruiting projects. This position will report to the onsite HR Manager while working closely with the onsite Recruiter and the DC Leadership team. This is a highly interactive position and not just a sit behind the desk position.  You have a do-what-it-takes attitude and will be key in helping to ensure the continuous growth and success of thredUP’s organization and culture.

Responsibilities

  • Be an active player with DC leadership in driving efforts to improve retention through effective coaching and accountability, building morale, and establishing rapport with employees
  • Conducting onsite hourly orientations to ensure that new employees are starting off on the right foot
  • Be the welcome ambassador for thredUP candidates and manage the onsite interviews to ensure a successful candidate experience
  • Maintain the HR filing system
  • Assist with exit interviews and the collecting of information as to why employees leave
  • Providing assistance with recruiting efforts that may include representing thredUP at job fairs or other events
  • Assist in the preparation of offer letters, the launching of new hire paperwork
  • Create and maintain job postings across various platforms
  • Perform other Human Resources/Recruiting responsibilities as required

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of human resources and/or recruiting experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively with decision makers
  • Experience with GSuite preferred
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to professionally handle confidential tasks
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
