About The Role

As the Retail Store Clean Out Specialist,  you will have ownership over the buying of merchandise brought in via clean out kits for the Los Gatos retail location.  A Clean Out Specialist is responsible for selecting, processing and communicating with customers on all merchandise that is sold through the retail store clean out process.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively communicate to customers how the process will work , providing exceptional customer service
  • We can not accept every piece of clothing that is brought in, you will be acting as quality control to keep our assortment in tip top shape
  • Buy, sort and price merchandise
  • Understand seasonal trends and brand pricing strategy
  • Ship out merchandise we did not accept for donation or for the distribution centers to processHelp maintain the organization and appearance of work space / stockroom
  • Report weekly on trends, flow, and any feedback from the week
  • Assistance on sales floor with coverage as needed
  • Other duties may be required

Requirements

  • High School Diploma                                                                                                                                               
  • Previous retail experience is preferred
  • Previous in store buying experience is a plus
  • A great work ethic and aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty
  • Detail oriented, organized, and dependable
  • Ability to work independently and lead division of in store process, motivated and results driven
  • Interest in fashion/apparel
  • Technologically-savvy and resourceful
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment with few processes in place
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
