About the role:
thredUP is looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our IT team! We’re growing quickly, and in need of additional members to keep everything running smoothly and ensure our internal employees' ability to work isn’t hindered in any way. Being based in the Kyiv office, you may also be called on to help the Kyiv based team with any computer problems they may come across, as well as assisting the office manager in procuring new equipment.


  • Respond to assigned helpdesk tickets and provide solutions for reported employee technology issues.
  • Monitor servers and network equipment to ensure systems are online and functioning appropriately.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software problems; perform problem escalation, if required.
  • Provide end user support with their IT Systems challenge via in person, phone, email and chat.
  • Participate on team projects, complete tasks and ensure they are completed on time and to specifications.
  • Enhance our automations with programming in various scripting languages such as Powershell, Python, PHP, or Ruby.
  • Participate in a rotating on call schedule.


  • 3+ years of experience in IT system or network administration.
  • Experience using Windows, Mac OS, Linux/Unix OSes.
  • Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory along with related tools.
  • Knowledge of at minimum a single scripting language.
  • Enterprise network experience with Cisco and Juniper hardware, including knowledge of subnetting, routing, and IPSec tunneling.
  • Experience using G Suite and Google products.
  • VMware experience using ESXi and vCenter.
  • Ability to understand use Azure and AWS.
