thredUP, Inc. and Feeding America 2020 Donation Program
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The thredUP, Inc. and Feeding America Donation Program (“Program”) is available at https://www.thredup.com/ (the “Website”) in the United States and is open to residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, who are 18 years of age or older. Void in where prohibited. Program is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
Program Dates & Overview: Program starts on December 1, 2020 and ends on December 29, 2020 (“Program Period”). Eligible sales will only take place every Tuesday during the Program Period from 12:01 a.m. Pacific Standard Time (“PST) to 11:59 p.m. PST (each, an “Eligible Sales Period). There are five (5) Eligible Sales Periods.
How to Participate: During the Program Period, thredUP, Inc. (“thredUP”) will donate $1 to Feeding America every eligible item purchased during an Eligible Sales Period (from the daily applicable category) on the Website, with a total maximum donation of $10,000. The applicable category will change each Eligible Sales Period. The donation maximum will be $10,000 total for all five (5) Eligible Sales Periods.
The categories for each Eligible Sales Period are as follows –
- Eligible Sales Period 1. 12/1: Sweaters
- Eligible Sales Period 2. 12/8: Outerwear
- Eligible Sales Period 3. 12/15, Jeans
- Eligible Sales Period 4. 12/22: Revive by Rent The Runway items
- Eligible Sales Period 5. 12/29: Goody Boxes
Payments to Feeding America will be made within ninety (90) days from the end date of the Program Period. Information concerning Feeding America, including financial, licensing or charitable purpose may be obtained, without cost, by visiting https://www.feedingamerica.org/ or writing to:

General Conditions: thredUP, Feeding America, and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, and advertising and promotion agencies and (collectively, the “Released Parties”) are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, or delayed purchases, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or other errors or problems of any kind. Should any portion of the offer be, in thredUP’s sole opinion, compromised by non-authorized human intervention or other causes which, in the sole opinion of thredUP, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or submission of information, thredUP reserves the right at its sole discretion to terminate the Program if the human intervention was caused by Feeding America or a Feeding America employee, officer, or director. By participating, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the decisions of thredUP which are final and binding.
Disputes: Except where prohibited, participant agrees that: (a) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Program shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in the state of California; (b) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with participating in the Program, and in no event shall participant be entitled to receive attorneys’ fees or other legal costs or expenses unless expressly stated otherwise in the contract between tredUP and Feeding America; and (c) Participant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Terms and Conditions, participant’s rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of thredUP in connection with the Program, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the state of California.
